How to Match Price Labels to Your Price Gun

By the Label Mark-It team · Updated

Short answer: To match labels to a price gun, check four things: the gun's brand, its model, how many lines it prints, and the label size it takes. The model number is usually on the side or bottom of the gun. With those, ordering the right labels is easy.

Find the brand and model

Look on the side, bottom or inside the cover. Brands like Xmark, Garvey, Contact, Towa, Sato, Monarch and Meto print the model there.

Count the lines

Count the rows of print bands. One row is 1-line, two rows is 2-line, and so on.

Pick the color and adhesive

  • White for everyday pricing.
  • Fluorescent colors for sales and markdowns.
  • Removable adhesive when customers will peel it off a gift.
  • Permanent adhesive when it has to stay put.

Still not sure?

Send us a photo of the gun or call 866-728-1525. We'll tell you which label fits.
